    For a v6 commodore it is very economical for long distance trips and they are very comfortable to drive but make sure the timing chain is good especially on higher k models on the ve fortunately for me the car sales done the timing chain and that's why I bought it keep the maintenance up to them and you shouldn't have any problems the ve v6 commodore are very reliable.
