    rear view mirror in this model is quite small, would love to have bigger and better one. Would have been good to have side mirrors retract using a button or control in the car (it’s manual).

    Most, if not all, 2015 VW Polo sold in NZ, whether it’s NZ-new or imported from Japan/Singapore (like the one sold by Nova), are cambelt-driven (engine type is CJZ), so please do your homework by researching about the car as much as possible. Note that you must be sure that you’re researching the same type of engine, because it can be different depending on which country the Polo is sold. Try ALL features that the car has; park sensors, radio, rain sensors, light, etc. Last but not least, before or after you purchase the car, when you know the VIN of the car, check with VW if it’s affected by the ongoing recall programmes. Polo in this era could have a faulty mechatronics unit & DSG gearbox, and VW will fix if for free if your car is affected.

    Great car ...nippy and fast without hurting my wallet. It makes me want to drive my Bmw M2 less as it does a decent job of commuting whilst having fun at the same time ...never owned a GTi before but now a big fan Compared to my BMW the fuel gauge does not move !

    I bought the VW Polo for my daughter to learn to drive in. I consider this to be a safe, reliable car which is also a bit stylish (great colour!) She is very excited to learn to drive in it but a bit nervous about the stop/start technology. Luckily we can turn off stop/start when she is learning and switch it back on when she has mastered the basics.
